The twelve tracks of YOSHI are like a walk in a long corridor with twelve different rooms, and every room hides a landscape or a scenario, now natural with birds, animals, and magic creatures, now underground with concrete and the cold light of street lamps. This variety is also found during the listening of the single songs, that may begin in a way, going through a rollercoaster, and ending with another unexpected shape; that approach reflects the instinct of music that leads you in the right path of unexplored possibilities, and the nature of the human being, always before crossroads and choices to make. That's the reason why the themes exposed are lovestories, from the most ancient, fantastical and mythical (“Mothotho”) to the most carnal and passionate (“Peonies”), the struggle of facing regrets and disappointments and finally find the strength to stand up and go ahead (“Quicksand”), or finding yourself through nature and confidence, focusing on your inner power (“Rise Da Shaman”).
